Well, it’s official. Todd Bentley is now Reverend Todd Bentley. Guess the “restoration” is over and Todd is free to do whatever he wants, including revealing the long awaited “doctrine of divorce” he promised us all months ago. He still hasn’t published this yet.

Have any of you ever heard of a teaching called the “two-fold atonement”? Those who teach this claim that Jesus not only died for our sins but also for our sickness. They cite Isaiah 53:5 and claim that the word “healed” means physical healing and that those who believe will be healed physically. Is this so? Apparently my Signs and Wonders article has caused some discussion on the net. I know of at least one site that used my posting as a basis for theirs….and you can judge it for yourself. My prayer was that those caught up in the false “signs and wonders will follow all that believe” doctrine would see their error and repent. Signs and wonders were an important part of the early church. The only way for many in those days to believe was to see sight restored to the blind and the lame to walk. In fact, Jesus promised His Apostles they would be able to do far greater things then He did (Mark 16:15-18). There are some Christians who believe that the Mark text, which is actually part of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), is still applicable and anyone who believes is able to perform the same signs and wonders as Christ and the Apostles.
