Friday’s Front Row!!

This week’s Friday’s Front Row is packed with sports action. Baseball, NCAA and NFL Football as well as games from the NHL are on tap. As always check your local listings for times and channels.

The MLB playoffs are heating up with four games scheduled this weekend.

Friday night begins the battle for the American League pennant as the NY Yankees travel to Arlington to play the Texas Rangers. Game two between the two clubs will be on Saturday.  Hopefully the Rangers will continue their clutch play and win both of these games at home otherwise the Yankees will be in their second consecutive World Series.

The National League battle for the pennant begins Saturday with the surprise San Francisco Giants travelling to Philadelphia with Game 2 on tap for Sunday. I really really like the Phillies but watching the Giants dismiss the Braves has me thinking this series might just go down to the wire but I’m sticking with the Phillies to go all the way this year!

In NCAA action the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes travel to #18 Wisconsin Badgers. This should be a slugfest with OSU leaving Madison with a victory and remain the #1 team in the nation for the second week in a row.

In what should be the game of the day the #12 Arkansas Razorbacks travel to Auburn to take on the #7 Tiger’s. Look for Razorback Quarterback Ryan Mallett to have a big night and lead the ‘backs to an upset!

In NFL action the New York Jets travel to Denver to play the Broncos. Jets coach Rex Ryan has done an excellent job preparing his team this season and I look for a big game from the visiting Jets leaving Denver with a win!

The NY Rangers host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday night and host the Colorado Avalanche on Monday! Hopefully the loss to the hopeless NY Islanders on Monday night wasn’t a sign of things to come otherwise it will be another long year for Ranger fans!

Have a great weekend everyone!
