In NCAA college football we have two inter-state rivalries as well as several games of interest.
The #17 ranked Michigan State Spartans travel to Ann Arbor to meet the #18 ranked Michigan Wolverines. This is a special rivalry and this year both teams are undefeated to expect fireworks. Look for a Wolverine victory in this one folks.
The #23 ranked Florida State Seminoles travel to Coral Gables to take on the #13 ranked Miami Hurricanes! Miami has won eight out of their last 11 games between the two schools and this game will probably go down to the wire with Miami being the victor!
The #12 ranked LSU Tigers travel to Florida to take on the #14 ranked Florida Gators in what could be the matchup of the day. There is plenty of excitement coming out of Baton Rouge and for good reason. The Tigers are undefeated and will leave Florida still undefeated!
The #1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and their outstanding running back Mark Ingram travel to Colombia to take on the #19 South Carolina Gamecocks. No disrespect intended to the Gamecocks but this thing should be over by halftime with another easy Alabama win.
It’s week five of NFL action and the only game I’m interested in is the Monday night game between the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. Veteran Randy Moss has returned to the Vikings to give Brett Favre another big threat option. Look for the Jets to pull this one out!
The National Hockey League opens their 2010-2011 season in fine style. The New York Rangers open their season Saturday night against the Buffalo Sabres. Look for big things this year from the Blueshirts Marian Goberik to have another big season!
The Major League Baseball playoffs are well under way! Check your local listings for times!
That’s it for this weeks Friday’s Front Row! Have a great weekend!
