Did Jesus Teach This?

The pimps and pimpettes are clever people. They have used bits and pieces of Scripture to brainwash their sheeple into believing whatever the pimp wants them to. The sheeple are fiercely loyal to their respective fleecer’s  and willingly fork over their funds in order to be “blessed”. The pimps have tricked their unsuspecting sheeple into a belief that Gawd wants them healthy/wealthy and prosperous now. Heaven on Earth now is their mantra. Being poor is a sin and demonstrates a lack of faith. Did Jesus teach this?

LUKE 6:20-26 KJV

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Right away we see what Jesus thinks about those followers of His who are poor. He says that they are “blessed”. The Greek word for blessed in this instance, is “makarios” which means to be happy and blessed. Why? Jesus then tells us that theirs is the “kingdom of God”. He’s telling His poor followers to be happy and blessed because even though you may not have money your blessing or happiness is in the promise that you are a part of the Kingdom of God, both NOW and ETERNALLY! The pimps only tell you about the now. They rarely if ever tell you about the hereafter. Clearly not what Jesus taught His true followers.

Jesus continues His discourse by promising His followers that those who would be hungry now shall be “filled”. Metaphorically speaking, Jesus is telling those who will follow Him that whoever craves and ardently follows Him will be filled or satisfied. Jesus wants us to crave Him and have a desire for Him and Him alone. The Greek word for this hunger is “peinao” which perfectly describes this hunger. The pimps want you to crave or desire what the world has to offer and to have it all NOW. Clearly not what Jesus taught His followers.  Jesus tells all that follow Him that even though we weep, we shall laugh. He says we are “blessed” when we weep. The Greek word here for weep is “klaio” which means to audibly mourn as one who mourns for the dead. He then tells us that we will laugh. Why will we laugh? Because Jesus comforts all of His true followers. Our mourning will be for a short time. Our laughter will be for eternity. The pimps don’t teach that. They teach that those who mourn lack faith. They teach their sheeple that mourning is a sin. They want their followers to laugh now. Clearly not what Jesus taught His followers.

Ever been attacked for standing up for Christ? Jesus tells us we should be happy for this. Ever been shunned or ridiculed for the cause of Christ? We are to be happy for this. Look at the life of Christ. He was ridiculed and shunned by friend and foe alike. Look at the Apostles. Same deal for them as well. Jesus says that “great is your reward”. The pimps don’t teach this. Question their teaching sometime and see what happens. They will cast you out, slander your name and call you a heathen. They tell you “you will lose your blessing”. Clearly against what Jesus taught His followers.

I should stop right there but as always, Jesus had something to say to folks who don’t follow Him.

Jesus now begins to use the word “Woe”. The Greek word for woe is “ouai” which means “alas”. Specifically this word is an expression of grief. Jesus is grieved when we seek riches above Him. He is grieved when we seek our satisfaction in anything other then Him. Jesus is grieved when we find our happiness in everything but Him. He mourns and wails when we seek the accolades of men rather then eternal life with Him. The pimps don’t teach this. They teach quite the opposite. They teach “You’re all That” and how to have your “Best Life Now”. They use worldly men and women as examples and put the clear teachings of Christ on the back shelf. They slander and defame godly historical Christians like Paul and hold up men like Donald Trump as examples for supposed Christians to follow. Clearly against what Jesus taught.

Preachers and Christian leaders teaching contrary to the Word of God don’t care about you. Anyone who teaches you can have “your best life now” care only about his or her pocket and nothing more. These money changers clearly make Christ grieve and make me sick to my stomach. I prefer to stand on the promises of Christ then get rich quick schemes the money changers posing as men and women of Gawd promote and profit from.

Did Jesus teach what the pimps teach?

Jesus is grieved.

Aren’t you?

  1. Thats so good Ill just go ahead and add on to that. That is precisley the point we have forgotten,, what did Jesus say?
Matthew 10 he said FREELY you have recieved, FREELY you give.
And folks it aint free to you when you are giving duplantis or which ever one of these people your light bill money and sitting there in the dark until payday. I dont care how much faith these people have told you that you have. You can deny it, in faith, all you want but YOUR LIGHTS ARE OUT! Thats not the devil testing your faith thats the local utilities board wanting their money.
Again, what did Jesus say? In 2 Corinthians 9:7 ” So let each one of us give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or OUT OF NECESSITY;For God loves a cheerful giver.” Is that not what these peopple are getting you to do? Sow this seed and the rest of your year will be better. Purposely targeting yoru needs then throwing a twisted verse of scripture at you to back it up? How many times have they told you to speak your need or write it on the back of yoru evnelope? We need to start letting the Holy Spirit guide us into all truth and in all our giving as is his job. And stop getting caught up in the emotional overflow of the moment and emptying our bank acccounts for these people…We need to get back to getting in the word of God and finding out; what did Jesus Say?
Does Jesus not want us blessed? Well sure he does. But again what did he say? He said to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness THEN, all these things would be added to you.

Phil: Well said Drew. Well said!

  2. And what did Jesus’ Apostles teach?

Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? (James 2:5)

For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.

But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. (1Co 1:26-29)

God actually seems biased towards the poor – and He doesn’t sound like His primary goal is to make them rich either, but to shame those who make a lot of noise about earthly goods.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” (Heb 13:5-6)

God will sustain all – rich and poor. He doesn’t want us chasing after riches, but trusting in Him to take care of us in all things.

It sure doesn’t look like these pimping fellows read their Bibles.

  3. Don’t you think I will belittle my God- Jehovah Jireh, the Holy one of Isreal by being content with my present situation? That is the question a lot of folks out there ask. Contrary to what they think, if they will take time to study scriptures they will discover that the bible preaches contentment explicitly. “But godliness with contentment is great gain”. 1Tim6:6.

Lack of contentment is one of the major problems of the sheeple. And I would say they love being fleeced. Let’s face it, if we are not greedy it will be difficult for us to be fleeced.

Another problem is that they don’t study their bibles. If they do, they will know that Jesus never taught ‘quick fixes’ like the pimps and pimpettes do. There is no short-cut in the kingdom. Our bible teaches preserverance, denying self, long suffering, patience, contentment … And above all it preaches the future glory i.e. the redemption of our bodies, Roms.8:18-25.

  4. Phil, the church has gotten to the point of you’re worse leaving out, then when you went in.

However, I do believe that we, the parishioners are allowing this mess to happen. Why aren’t we rightly dividing the word for ourselves? why aren’t we believing God instead of man? what is it in us that would align ourself with imperfection instead of a perfect God???

I’m not surprised at TBN’s reaction?? doesn’t the Word of God tells us we’ll endure persecution, and trials and we shouldn’t think it strange? if we know that’s a part of our walk…why the push back? why not endure and thank God for his grace and mercy???

why did God bless the woman who gave 2 mites and not the rich people? why did God tell the rich man to sell his things and then come follow him?

why is the church making up rules as they go along?????

this is not Christ, and whoooooa unto those walkin in the Spirit of Error…in the name of Jesus please repent!!

**thanks for letting me get this out!!**
keep up the excellent work–your sis, bria

  5. Once again, Joel Osteen’s utter failure to uphold Christian truth in an age of apostacy only further supports what is all too clear about his teaching: it is spiritually bankrupt.

Here is a link to articles our ministry has created on Osteen’s heretical compromise that is anointed as “Christianity” today.

  6. I just stumbled across this site. The word “sheeple” caught my eye. That word hit the nail on the head. I attend a once strong congregation who had to replace our pastor of 25 years. Some believed he was too materialistic but in the end, he made a point of encouraging self study. He told us Sunday morning service was the only place people came and left there minds at home. You would not do that at the doctor or lawyers office….why at church??!! He taught us to never take what he said as Gospel but study for yourself because your salvation is dependent on YOU!!!”
Well the pastor who replaced him has, over the last 4 years, destroyed this congregation. He did it in a very calculating and manipulative way. Even many of the “educated” Christians did not notice until it was already too late. Now we are truly in a spiritual battle. At the moment, I do not believe God wants the remnant to give up but it does get hard.

This attitude of worshiping the pastor, or idolatry as it should more accurately be called, has become more and more prevalent in todays churches. I truly fear where the church will be in 10 years. Just remember, it is the duty of those of us who see this to try and expose it, educate members who may not know or have lost their focus, and help rebuild the Church that Christ began. Keep up the good fight. and pray for us!
