My first thought after watching this video was “they must be joking”. After watching it again it’s obvious that they weren’t joking.
“Bishop” Eddie Long has now been crowned a king.
I was stunned when I heard the supposedly Jewish fella state “no more a commoner but a King” before the cheering New Birth crowd.
Had the scroll they wrapped around their new “King” been made of Charmin it would have been more appropriate.
What a load of manure.
I don’t know who I felt sorrier for; the dumbstruck crowd who don’t seem to know any better or the four dudes who had the unfortunate task of hoisting up the new “King”, throne and all, on their shoulders.
I wouldn’t want to be in any of their shoes when they meet the real King of King and Lord of Lords.

I was up early working getting ready to do this posting as well as one for my tennis site and for no apparent reason the electricity went out.
The skies were clear. There wasn’t any wind or any other reason to cause the lights to go out but they still did.
After about 30 minutes or so the lights were back on and it was business as usual once again around here.
Fortunately I’m prepared for these things. I have candles located darn near everywhere around the villa and of course the resort has a generator that works like a charm in these situations so no one was put off for too long.
Being prepared for the unexpected is a good thing.
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
This day is not unexpected.
His Word tells us that day is coming.
What His Word doesn’t tell us is exactly when that day will be coming.
So many people focus on when that day will be but I have to wonder if they are truly prepared for that day.
Are you prepared?
Have a great Wednesday everyone!
