We’ve had the pleasure of witnessing Lisa B attempt to defend Kenneth Copeland Ministries and his teachings about the atonement. I had been planning on posting some quotes Copeland has made over the years and now is as good a time as any to do this! I needed a little break from the lunacy in Lakeland and since I haven’t visited Paula Whites website in a few month’s I thought I’d pop on over and see what new scam the princess of the prosperity movement had cooking these days. The very first time I ever watched Todd Bentley I thought he was a former biker or gang banger, who after a very difficult life found Jesus. Look at the guy and tell me you wouldn’t have thought this yourself. I thought he was a guy who sat under some bad teaching and simply fell for it….as MOST of us have been guilty of during our walk with Christ. I’m learning more and more about this fellow during the last few days and what I’ve discovered about this self appointed “revivalist” disturbs me greatly…..
I can’t believe that people are flocking to this so-called Florida Healing Outpouring and claiming this flesh based “revival” is Holy Spirit inspired. Todd Bentley is a false teacher prophet and dreamer of dreams and visions and someone with even a miniscule amount of discernment can see this yet still they flock to him like ants at a picnic. Well, I can believe it because the sheep are infected with a disease called The Silly Sheeple Syndrome.
Those of you who have been around here for any length of time know how passionate I am when it comes to warning the sheep that the wolves are devouring them financially and spiritually. A few moments ago, while waiting to watch the Florida Healing Outpouring, God led me to the following portion of Scripture that will serve as a warning to Todd Bentley and his fellow Prophetic Movement Associates……
I think it’s important whenever someone like Todd Bentley comes along claiming “visions” and conducting “healing revivals” that we examine what they teach. Today we will begin to examine his published works to determine if what he is teaching lines up with God’s Written Word….and today we will begin with Part 1 of “Heavens Realities”…….
I’m reading things about Todd Bentley that disturb me. I’m seeing things on Youtube that make me shake my head and I’m receiving emails that either praise me for bringing this to the publics attention as well as some who call me names my mother didn’t give me.
Todd Bentley has been conducting a series of meetings in Lakeland Florida known as the Florida Outpouring. Apparently people are being healed and if this is a true movement of God I think it’s great. However I have some concerns I’d like to share with you that leads me to believe that this is nothing more then another Satan inspired hoax perpetrated by Mr. Bentley and some of his cohorts……..
One of the sites I visit daily is Melvin Jones amazing blog Pulpit Pimps. In fact his work inspired me to begin this blog over one year ago. He’s done a series of posts lately on Joel Osteen but one in particular stayed with me…and today I would like to hopefully expand upon Chris Wallace’s interview with Osteen Melvin used as a basis for his post….
