Todd Bentley and the Florida Outpouring

April 30, 2008

Todd Bentley has been conducting a series of meetings in Lakeland Florida known as the Florida Outpouring. Apparently people are being healed and if this is a true movement of God I think it’s great. However I have some concerns I’d like to share with you that leads me to believe that this is nothing [...]

Joel Osteen

April 27, 2008

One of the sites I visit daily is Melvin Jones amazing blog Pulpit Pimps. In fact his work inspired me to begin this blog over one year ago. He’s done a series of posts lately on Joel Osteen but one in particular stayed with me…and today I would like to hopefully expand upon Chris Wallace’s [...]

My work schedule has dramatically increased and I’ve been dealing with a personal matter this past week or two that needed to be addressed. The dreaded [...]

The other day two false teachers God’s Word exposed were moaning about my site (without the courage to name me) on one of theirs like two puppies who were scolded for peeing on the carpet. They accuse me (and others like me) of “dishonoring God’s work” by holding their [...]

The Two Fold Atonement

April 6, 2008

Have any of you ever heard of a teaching called the “two-fold atonement”? Those who teach this claim that Jesus not only died for our sins but also for our sickness. They cite Isaiah 53:5 and claim that the word “healed” means physical healing and that those who believe will be healed physically. Is this [...]

The Heresy of the Universalists

April 4, 2008

I’ve never understood the Universalists. I understand their beliefs…I just can’t understand how they could believe that “everyone’s saved” and there’s no “literal hell” when Scripture is crystal clear that not everyone is saved and there is indeed a place called hell. Can they be Christians and hold to such beliefs?
